A few months ago, I started to feel a pain under my heel when I took my first few steps after getting out of bed. The pain that I felt was strange because in the beginning, I only felt it in the morning when I took my first few steps after getting out of bed. It didn’t take long before I found out that I am suffering from plantar fasciitis. Plantar fasciitis is a very common foot condition but many people do not realize that they suffer from this condition. If you have heel pain, it is most likely that you are suffering from plantar fasciitis. So what exactly is this common foot condition? Could you have Plantar Fasciitis?

This foot condition is caused when your plantar fascia gets week or irritated and becomes swollen and inflamed. What is your plantar fascia? Well, it is a band of tissue that is located at the bottom of your foot connecting your toes with your heel. There are many different reasons as to why this band of tissues can become weak or irritated. In my case, my plantar fascia is becoming week because I am overweight. In the past year, I gained a lot of weight which is putting a lot of pressure on my plantar fascia causing it to become weak.
