Healthcare Productions began providing video based education for the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) in 1990, and over the next four years produced a series of 44 clinical videos. In addition, Healthcare Productions produced 83 programmes for RCN Nursing Update - a major continuing education project for nurses. The programmes were broadcast on BBC 2’s Learning Zone and there was interrelated text published in Nursing Standard as well as a national computer marked assessment scheme.
